Delete your account and data
You can delete your Tabby account and everything attached to it at any time — from inside the app in a few taps, or by asking us. This page explains both, and what happens afterwards.
Delete it yourself, in the app
This is the quickest route and it doesn't involve us at all:
- Open Tabby and go to the profile tab
- Tap Delete account at the bottom
- Confirm when asked — it can't be undone
Your account is closed immediately and you're signed out.
Or ask us to do it
If you can't get into the app — a lost phone, a sign-in that won't work — email us instead. The button below fills in the subject line.
Please send it from the address linked to your Tabby account, and tell us whether you used Tabby on iOS, Android or both. We'll confirm by replying to that address, and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and your profile — name, initials, picture and push token
- Every tab you created, along with its items and everybody's claims on it
- Your claims on other people's tabs, and your settled amounts
- Your saved payment details
- The receipt images you uploaded, removed from storage within 30 days
Two things worth knowing before you do it. A tab is shared, so deleting your account removes the tabs you created for everyone who was on them. And it's final — there is no restore, and signing in again later gives you a fresh, empty account.
